Okay, what I'm doing is this.
Aug. 9th, 2006 04:38 pmSince my near-concurrent discovery of slash and of Mobipocket, I have used the second to transfer the first to my Palm Pilot, to the detriment of my navigational skills. Book upon book upon book of more-or-less scorching porn, tucked into often blandly-named collections. Which it's impossible to go back and find anything in reliably. Good for the first reading but for re-reading? Not so much.
So I am tagging them in Delicious. Which involves selecting descriptive lines or two from the stories in question. Which leads to re-reading, and rediscovering jewels like this from Resonant's A Modest Proposal:

"A little companionship, somebody to have a good time with, somebody to hang around with after work, a little snuggle now and then, some physical affection. Is that too much to ask?"*grin* Res is love.
"Not at all," Fraser said in what he hoped was a soothing voice.
Ray looked at him, eyes narrowed. The moment stretched out so long that Fraser ran his tongue along his front teeth to make sure no lettuce was stuck there. No; apparently it was something else. "Yes?" he said encouragingly.
"You hang around with me after work."
"I'm doing so even as we speak," Fraser said, waiting for the point.
"You talk to me at the end of the day."
Fraser nodded agreeably.
"In fact," Ray said, "the only thing missing is the physical affection."
And he looked at Fraser expectantly.
Fraser slid down the couch and gave Ray a one-armed hug, patting his shoulder. Then he went back to his pizza.
Ray rolled his eyes. "If that was all I needed, I could get it from Ma Vecchio," he said. "But then again, if that's what 'physical affection' means to you, it explains your whole sex life right there."
