In other news, the number of servicepeople who successfully challenged their dismissal under Don't Ask, Don't Tell rose last year to 36 out of 120, from 22 out of 125 in 2005 and 12 out of 107 in 2003. Did you know how low the burden of burden of proof is? "The standard for evidence is low, according to legal specialists and military regulations, and cases can turn on one soldier's testimony."
Gaahhhh.
But on the bright side, "A recent study by the Naval Postgraduate School found that a majority of military personnel felt comfortable around openly gay colleagues." So the sea change I predicted based on generations is occurring.
