wordwitchSo my son and I stood in line for about two hours yesterday at City Hall for an absentee ballot, immediately handed in. So that 1, he could watch me do it - the lines this morning promised to be so long that I would not be able to get him and his sisters to their respective schools on time - and 2, I could be free today to pick people up and take them to their polling places.
I'm awaiting calls now.
I may not get called at all. The Social Service Committee woman who signed me up at First Unitarian on Sunday said that she had the hours covered, but needed backup. Which would be me.
