The Dragon... Bloody little snot hurt to get, but I am glad that I did it. I've enjoued having him and may get him touched up soon, apparently his lines are blurring a bit & I like the thought of him being crisp.

Oh, it was a blast. And I would love to do it again. But money has ruled it out for too many damn years. Bother.

All you need to do is allow your mouth to have free reign and forget being nice. It is amazing what pops out then!

Well, I signed up for two stories in the LBGT ficathon run by Penknife & co. One's going to be a new Nero Wolfe and one will be a Bujold Chalion universe fan fiction. Then I'm going to do some WIP work - I hope including Ash and Iron - and then I may be writing a western for Torquere, and another YA novel for Prizm, and doing more WIP work, and by then it will probably be time for yuletide. Also, I need to update my site at some point, which hasn't happened in way too long. (Phew!)

Mind you, looking ahead like this is begging for trouble, but I'm willing to try for a request. *g*

I think everything I turned into Torquere is out except for "The Empress," which should be issued in the next couple of months.

::grins:: it helps if you have a horse to do it, but yes, i can ride.

i took 6yrs of english riding lessons when i was a kid, and loved every minute of it. i want another horse, but can't afford one just now (damned student loans and stuff). i keep thinking that i want 2 horses: a reasonably good-quality thoroughbred/ hot-blood breed for the local jumper circuit, one which i can work the rust off (it's been a *long* time since i've been in the saddle), grow with, and enjoy competing in local shows with. and i'd also like a draft horse i can doll up in fall and winter for hay rides and sleigh rides for the kids and stuff. i wouldn't charge anything, because seeing the joy on their faces would be plenty good enough. everyone should have at least one hay ride in life. :-D
